Ozzy Osbourne has been forced to cancel one of his shows due to an illness – and it seems he’s enlightened his fans with exactly just what that means.

Earlier this week, the 70-year-old took to Twitter with a gory picture of his bloodshot eye.

In the caption the star revealed how sick he was, as he’d told fans: ‘Coughed so hard I burst a blood vessel in my eye.’

And he sure wan’t lying, as the gruesome pic showed Ozzy’s eye bright red from his tear duct to his iris – and we can’t help but feel sorry for him.

Thankfully though, this should dissipate within the next two weeks.

However, it seems the Crazy Train hitmaker’s condition is worse than just a bloodshot eye, as it has now been revealed that the star has cancelled the first date of his tour.

The rocker was set to kick off his No More Tours 2 run at Dublin’s 3Arena later this week, but has pulled out over an illness.

MCD promoters revealed that the first week of his tour will now be rescheduled, but reassured fans that they will not miss out.

Taking to Twitter, they wrote: ‘Due to Illness reschedules first week of his tour. Stand by for news on rescheduled date.

‘Hold on to your tickets. No exchange necessary. Stay tuned to for news .’

At the time the tour was announced, Ozzy seemed pumped for the dates, and told fans: ‘I’ve been extremely blessed to have had two successful music careers.

‘I’m looking at this final tour as being a huge celebration for my fans and anyone who has enjoyed my music over the past five decades.’

However, it seems the celebrations will have to wait so that the icon can recover.

The news comes after Ozzy was admitted to hospital with an infection after treating himself to a manicure back in October last year.

Although he made a speedy recovery after undergoing emergency surgery, the rockstar revealed he was almost killed from what appeared to be a normal pamper day.

Talking to the Daily Star, Ozzy claimed that his condition could have been life threatening if the infection had got into his blood stream.

He said: ‘I was in hospital for a couple of days and had emergency surgery, and I remember waking up in the morning and Sharon said: “What the fuck have you done to your hand?”

‘The funny thing is they reckon I got it from a manicure! It won’t stop me from heading to the UK in February.’

But a bloodshot eye will!
